1. Our Copyright Policy
M3U Edit provides tools for managing IPTV M3U playlists. We do not host video streams, but users may upload, process, or link to content via our service.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for copyright infringement:
- We process valid DMCA notices promptly (usually within 48 hours).
- We terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
- We cooperate with rights holders in good faith.
- We do not actively monitor uploaded content (Section 230 / DMCA Safe Harbor).
2. How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe content on M3U Edit infringes your copyright, send a written notice via:

Per 17 U.S.C. Β§ 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work Description of the work claimed to have been infringed (e.g. "Episode 5 of TV Show X, copyright Studio Y")

- Accuracy & authority statement "The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
- Physical or electronic signature Signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative (typing your full name counts as electronic signature)
4. Counter-Notice (If Your Content Was Wrongly Removed)
If you received a takedown notice and believe it was sent in error or based on misidentification, you may file a counter-notice. Send it to [email protected] with:
- Your identification Name, address, phone, email, and your username on our service
- Identification of removed content Description of the material and where it was located before removal
- Statement under penalty of perjury "Under penalty of perjury, I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material."
- Consent to jurisdiction "I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or if outside the U.S., the courts of Lahore, Pakistan, and will accept service of process from the person who provided the notification or their agent."

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we forward it to the original complainant. If they don't file a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the content.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
What constitutes "repeat infringement":
- π΄ 3 or more separate valid DMCA takedowns within 12 months β account suspended (review)
- π΄ 5 or more separate valid DMCA takedowns within 12 months β permanent account termination
- π΄ Single egregious case (e.g. mass piracy operation) β immediate termination
Terminated accounts:
- Lose access to all premium credits (no refund for piracy-related terminations)
- Cannot create new accounts using same email/IP/payment methods
- May be reported to law enforcement in serious cases
6. Knowingly False Claims
Under 17 U.S.C. Β§ 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney's fees, incurred by:
- The alleged infringer
- Any copyright owner or licensee
- Service providers (us)
We take false claims seriously. If we determine a notice was filed in bad faith, we may:
- Refuse to process the notice
- Restore removed content immediately
- Provide details to affected parties for legal action
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations
