By using M3U Edit, you agree to these terms. The short version:

✅ Use it freely — but don't abuse it (spam, hack, illegal stuff = banned).
✅ Your content is yours — we just host it for you.
✅ Credits don't expire — buy when you need them.
✅ 7-day refunds if <10% credits used.
✅ Cancel anytime — delete account = full data wipe.
⚠️ No warranty — we try our best, but service is "as-is".

1. Agreement Between You & Us

By accessing or using M3U Edit (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement.

2. Our Service

M3U Edit provides web-based tools for managing IPTV M3U playlists, including:

Editing tools (cleaner, splitter, merger, sorter, etc.)
Validation tools (stream checker, IPTV checker)
Conversion tools (M3U ↔ Xtream, link converters)
Playlist hosting with permanent URLs
Auto-update with channel diff tracking
Premium AI-powered tools (logo finder, EPG matcher, etc.)

The Service is free for basic use. Premium features may require credits, available for purchase.

3. Your Account

Registration

You must provide accurate, current information.
One account per person — multiple accounts may be deleted without notice.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
You're responsible for all activity under your account.
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Account Security

Use a strong, unique password.
Don't share credentials with anyone.
We may suspend accounts showing suspicious activity.

4. Acceptable Use

✅ You MAY:

Process & manage your own M3U playlists
Process playlists you have rights to use
Use the Service for personal or business purposes
Build automation/scripts via our public API (when available)

❌ You MAY NOT:

🚫 Process pirated, copyrighted, or stolen content
🚫 Distribute illegal IPTV streams or content
🚫 Attempt to bypass rate limits, CAPTCHAs, or restrictions
🚫 Resell, white-label, or rebrand our Service without permission
🚫 Use automated tools to abuse free tier limits
🚫 Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy our code
🚫 Spam, phish, or send malicious content via our Service
🚫 Probe for vulnerabilities (use our security contact instead)
🚫 Impersonate others or create fake accounts

Violations = Account Termination. Severe violations may result in legal action and reporting to authorities. We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account at our discretion if these terms are violated.

5. Your Content

Ownership

Anything you upload, host, or process through our Service ("Your Content") remains yours. We don't claim ownership.

License You Grant Us

By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

Store it on our servers (only when you opt to host)
Display it back to you
Process it to provide our Service
Make backup copies (for disaster recovery)

This license ends immediately when you delete the content or your account.

Your Responsibility

You confirm that:

You have the right to upload & process the content
The content doesn't violate any laws or third-party rights
You won't use our Service to distribute pirated or illegal content

6. Credits & Payments

How Credits Work

💎 Credits are virtual tokens used to access premium tools.
💎 Credit costs vary by tool (e.g. 1 credit for Stream Validator, 10 for AI tools).
💎 Credits never expire.
💎 Free tools cost 0 credits.

Purchases

💳 We accept cryptocurrency only (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, etc.)
💳 Purchases are processed by third-party crypto payment processors
💳 Credits are added to your account upon payment confirmation
💳 Network confirmation times may vary (usually minutes, sometimes longer)

Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to change credit pricing or tool credit costs with 30 days notice. Existing credits in your account remain at their original purchase value.

7. Refund Policy

✅ Refundable

Within 7 days of purchase
If less than 10% of credits used
If our Service was substantially down (we'll proactively credit you)
If duplicate purchase due to technical error

❌ Non-Refundable

After 7 days from purchase
If more than 10% of credits consumed
If account was banned for Terms violation
Crypto network fees (passed through from network)

Refunds are processed in the same cryptocurrency used for purchase, minus network fees. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your transaction ID.

8. Service Availability

🟢 We aim for 99.9% uptime, but don't guarantee it.
🔧 Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance when possible.
⚠️ Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
📊 Status page (when available) shows real-time service health.

If we have prolonged outages affecting your premium service, we may proactively add credits to your account as compensation.

9. Disclaimers & Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

We don't guarantee tools will work for every M3U file or that hosted playlists will always be accessible. We're not responsible for:

Loss of your content (always keep backups!)
Streams that don't work (we just process URLs, we don't run them)
Legal issues from content you process or host
Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 6 months.

10. Termination

You Can Terminate Anytime

Visit Account Settings → Delete Account
All your data is permanently deleted within 30 days
Unused credits are forfeited (unless within refund window)

We May Terminate If:

You violate these Terms
Account is inactive for 12+ months
We discontinue the Service (we'll give 60 days notice + refund)
Required by law

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms over time. When we do:

📧 For material changes, we'll email you 30 days before they take effect
🔔 You can review prior versions on request
✅ Continued use after changes = acceptance

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

For disputes:

⚖️ Formal disputes go to courts of Lahore, Pakistan
🇪🇺 EU users retain rights under their local consumer protection laws
