Frequently asked questions

What does the M3U URL Extractor do?

It reads your M3U or M3U8 playlist and lists every stream URL with optional channel names, groups, and logos — ready to copy or download as TXT, CSV, JSON, or a clean M3U file.

Are channel names included in the export?

Yes, by default. Toggle “Include channel names” off for URLs-only output, or enable “Output URLs only” for a plain list.

Is my playlist uploaded to your servers?

Paste and file upload are processed entirely in your browser. If you load from a URL, our server fetches the playlist once to return the text — we do not store it.

Which stream URL types are supported?

http://, https://, rtmp://, and rtsp:// lines are extracted. Metadata from #EXTINF (group-title, tvg-id, tvg-name, tvg-logo) is preserved when enabled.

Are duplicate URLs removed?

By default, yes. Turn on “Keep duplicates” to list every occurrence in the original order.

Do I need an account or credits?

No. This tool is free to use. Guests complete a quick captcha before copy or download; sign-in skips captcha.

What can I do with the URL list next?

Paste it into Stream Validator, spreadsheets, custom scripts, or CDN review workflows. Export CSV or JSON for automation.
